Worried that partner may not have a balance, and that we may lose a worthwhile sac, I bid 4♠ with my 4 trumps.
Opponents can make 5♥ and even 6♣ from East hand, so -100 looks like a great score, right? Wrong – most of the field was in 6♥ -1

While we did have our share of minor errors, I think we didn’t do much wrong, but were punished severely in some boards, simply because field took unexpected actions.
However the end result was that we were 2nd by about a board.
Oh well, another day, another event..
