Anyone having any question about a bid or play, please post in comments, and we’ll try and have the concerned player answer it. Please mark the question to specific player – e.g @sumit why did you play !S7 at trick 3 in board 7 in 2nd segment of your match against dsm (4!H contract)

    Day 1- this gem emerged in March between Formidables and DSM ; the deal reinstated my belief in the theory “ in a F auction pass shows inability to make a decisive bid , nothing more”.
    AKX, AKQJXX XXX X – both vul u open 1H -(2C)-3C-(3D)-you?
    If RHO had passed u surely would have bid 4c or 3s slam try , in my above theory you should continue to do same ( as if rho passed); at the table PASS fetched 4H from partner – now this could be based on your pass of 3D showing better than 3H bid; they played 4H missing a top trick grand!!

    Day 2 was a bit of a let down – in 20 minutes of kibbing I saw a doubled game sold on a ruff & discard ; a game contract going down because declarer tried for OT …
