Cost of Holding a Bridge Tournament

We Bridge players love playing in a nice Tournament. While some like a “tough” field where we can showcase our skills, others like a nicely held tournament with good quality venue, continuous serving of tea and coffee and a nice healthy non-greasy food. I recently organized a tournament and had to work with the budget. Thought of sharing with you all the cost of holding a tournament:
(This does not include the prize money, which we all can add up from the brochure)
32 pairs 3 day event – sample
1 director, 1 scorer, 2 BBO operators, pre-dealt boards. Does not include venue costs, any cost for the people who work hard to make it happen.

As a participant, you each spend (if outstation), cost of travelling, cost of staying and Entry fee.
How long can we continue like this?
